Our Partnership with Broom Ventures
For decades, professional investors have recognized the benefits of allocating a portion of their assets into early-stage venture capital, leveraging these investments as a unique opportunity to unlock significant value and achieve outsized returns.
While most of our venture capital investments are made directly into individual companies, we recognized the need for a more diversified approach when investing in companies at their earliest stages. To mitigate the risk inherent in these high-risk, high-return investments, we determined that a “fund” structure would be the most effective strategy. As a result, Acuity partnered with Broom Ventures, a premier early-stage venture capital fund.
Broom Ventures focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage startups, targeting companies with disruptive technologies, exceptional teams, visionary leadership, and strong organizational cultures.
Acuity was an anchor investor in Broom Venture Fund I, which has achieved “top quartile” performance. The portfolio consists of 37 high-growth startups spanning industries such as defense tech, fintech, software, and artificial intelligence. Broom recently launched their second fund, which is currently open to new investors.
