Bob spent the first 25 years of his career in capital markets and venture capital. He and his teams participated in over 100 financings with total assets raised of over $10 billion. Bob began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert and went on to found and run several private investment banking and venture firms. His team was responsible for all aspects of the company building process including deal flow, due diligence, financing, board level advising, business development, recruiting, M/A activities and systems implementation.
In the past five years Bob and his team have leveraged their years of business and operating experience, and shifted their focus to Commercial Real Estate. They have found that investing in multi-family properties has the desired blend of preservation of capital, current cash flow, capital appreciation and tax efficient investing. Bob and his joint venture partners own over 3,000 units across the Southeast and Midwest.
Bob is a graduate of Syracuse University and proud father of 3 grown children. He currently resides and works in New York City, where he is actively involved in UJA and other philanthropic endeavors and is an active patron of Syracuse University Athletics. Bob is an avid skier, biker, and lacrosse player.
Scott is a Wall Street veteran with over 25 years of experience in portfolio management, investment banking, capital raising, venture, capital, and real estate. Scott and his teams have participated in over 100 financings with total assets raised over $1 billion.
Scott is the co-founder and President of Acuity Partners, which has had great success investing across alternative asset classes and are currently taking advantage of favorable market conditions in a variety of real estate transactions.
At Acuity, Scott sets the vision, cultivates investment partners, and identifies investment opportunities, among other duties. Prior to joining in 2016, Scott was VP of Sales and Recruiting for a leading advertising technology firm. During his time, sales grew from $7MM to $31MM. From 1990-2013, Scott held senior roles as a wealth advisor at Oppenheimer & Co, Wachovia Securities, Merrill Lynch, Raymond James and Sands Brothers.
Scott resides with his wife of 25 years and three children in Westchester County, NY. Scott enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and participates in a number of charitable organizations.
James is a graduate of the Florida State University where he obtained a double major in finance and real estate.
James began his career in the construction industry where he focused on luxury residential, apartment buildings in New York, Los Angeles and Miami before joining Acuity Partners. James currently heads Acuity’s business development team where he manages relationships with investors, brokers and service providers creating value for the organization.
James is an avid outdoorsman that enjoys skiing, boating and golfing.
